I haven't written for a while, but I have been making stuff!

Here's a pin that I gave as a "surprise" to the person who made the 20th purchase...
And here is the result of my first attempt at knitting. I was too impatient to wait for one of my friends who knew how to knit to teach me in person, so I learned from tutorials off the internets, hehe. I didn't know what else to do with that first little scrap of knitting, so I made a wrist cuff. The LOTUS FLOWER is made out of felt...(from looking at photos I realized it's somewhat Freudian, haha...how silly)
This sideways picture stuff is really annoying :(

Cards 4 Sale!

I just put my Valentine's Day cards up for sale on Etsy!

(I'm seriously annoyed by the random pictures that decide to show up sideways? If anybody knows the answer to this mystery feel free to tell me :D)

Wellll, I decided to try the holiday thing on Etsy, so I've made little Valentine's Day cards (3x3") to test things out. Here they arrrre:

Nice Surprise

So I have today off...not much to do (besides the always present cleaning)...so I've been spending most of my day working on Etsy stuff. I finally took some pictures of my barrettes that I'm actually satisfied with (thanks to my awesome, new camera). I renewed a few ACEOs and decided to check my views on Craft Cult (huh? didn't realize they changed their name). Anyways, long story short, page views were way up so I investigated and I'm in my 4th treasury (that I know of). Nothing on the front page yet...but maybe this one will be, I'll cross my fingers.

I'm pretty sure all of the treasuries I've been in so far have been space related, haha. Well, I do love space!

Ummmm, well, I haven't eaten yet today so perhaps I should go do that...I got into one of my zones after waking up where I start with something and don't stop until it's done.

I'm also very excited/happy about sales lately...4 in 4 days! That's definitely a record for me...and almost 20 sales! I never thought I'd make 20 sales! And I'm offering a free gift to whomever makes the 20th sale :)

Ahhh, finally I have new creations. I haven't painted in a while. My time has been consumed by the wonders of felt! It's so fun and easy to work with. Pretty much everything I'm making is a gift, so I'm just going to put up 2 examples of what I'm doing...

this one's a pin I decided to keep to spruce up my boring coats:
and this one's a gift to my brother which I can show because he's not much of an internet person:


The second one is kind of a felt picture thing which can be framed or just hung on the wall as is. I really like using thread as a sort of sketchy pencil line

Oh, and the colors on both of these are bad because I just scanned them and messed with the colors a bit...my camera is still sick :(

After all the gifts are given I'm going to try to get pictures of all of them up here...I'm going to make more felt stuff now cuz I just got some new felt yesterday, yesssssssss.

*Edit - sort of...my awesome, amazing, wonderful boyfriend just gave me an early xmas present that consists of one totally great camera (a Canon PowerShot)...I've never had such a nice camera and I am still awake at almost 6am because I had to wait for the battery to charge so I could test it out...and I am in love. Ahh, I'm so excited to take pictures of EVERYTHING.
